The start of UNIDEE 2020 "Embedded art practice in a Post Pandemic Future - week 1

Alice, Francesca and Federico conversed with organisations, businesses and associations from the Biella area to better understand the moment we are living in and how they are working during the pandemic.

They met Giovanni Marchi from Marchi&Fildi, Stephan Elsner of Bonprix and Luca Biasetti of Spazio Hydro.

UNIDEE Residency Programs Director Juan Sandoval and Visiting Research Curator Andy Abbott introduce the history and thinking behind this year’s residency.
2:15 – 2:45pm: Paul O’Neill Presentation on Durational Public Art /
Embedded Arts Practice
Curator, artist, writer educator and Artistic Director of PUBLICS in Helsinki, Paul O’Neill provides a keynote lecture looking at durational public art projects.
2:45 – 3:20pm: Panel with Aria Spinelli and Claudia Zeiske
Independent curator and researcher Aria Spinelli, and Director of Deveron Projects Scotland Claudia Zeiske will discuss their research and methodologies around artist-led and embedded arts activity in different contexts.
This will also include opportunity for questions from the (virtual) audience.

Dafne, Tatjana, Catalin and Camila visited PaceFuturo to learn more on migrations and talked with Ruggero Poi and Alessandra Bury on school and education for younger generations.
