‘Postcards from Home’ is a territorial survey about care.
It all started with questions about the everyday life I experienced during the pandemic:

Helena made me think that not only the postcards will have an intimate image or caption, but also what you write on the postcard, different from the letters, is open to be read randomly.

The research is far from finished: it remains open.

I am still collecting thoughts and images from the public and I am still thinking of a way to close the project.

What shall I do with the postcards created?

Where/how should I disseminate them in a way that underlines their physical communication function?

: how can the labour of care we carry out in our domestic space, be made visible, public?
: how can the isolation amongst the houses be broken other than via virtual connection?
Just after sending out the form to my friends and acquaintances, a friend of mine, that kind of friend that is awkward to talk to over the phone, called me, saying that the project was inspirational for him and made him think of houses in a different way and wanting him to make a project about the sacred in the houses. He sells cars pieces for work.
